The Clinic Manager, under minimal direction of the Director, is responsible for managing all functions of the assigned clinic(s), including organization and planning of the services provided by the clinic. The Manager coordinates the smooth operation of the day-to-day activities, provides leadership, makes decisions, sets goals, and assures that quality, performance and production standards are maintained.
Note: At the discretion of the Director, the Clinic Manager-II is usually responsible for the management of a single clinic or multiple clinics with (combined) more than 6 physicians.
Bachelor degree in related field (nursing, health care administration, business, etc.) preferred.
Or the equivalent combination of college courses plus extensive relevant experience which, in the Director’s opinion, is the equivalent of a bachelor degree.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
If driving is included as a function of the job, maintains a valid Washington Driver’s License and clean record.
Requires at least 3 years of experience in a physician practice, in a management or supervisory capacity; 5 years preferred.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
Working knowledge of third party reimbursement systems.
Position requires significant computer usage --must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use keyboard and monitor.
Physical Demand Level: Light
In an 8-hour workday, must be able to-
Lift / Carry 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
