Working under direct supervision of RN or MD, the Medical Assistant assists the Clinical Staff of the Endoscopy Department in providing patient care in an efficient and professional manner.
Assists in the care of all patients admitted to Endoscopy. Assists in preparation of patients for endoscopy and the performance of endoscopic procedures. Assists with the maintenance cleaning and use of endoscopy equipment and supplies. Uses computer system to chart and view schedule and patient information as needed.
