    Responsibilities

    Note:  This is a temporary position projected to last through December 2019.


    Under the direction of the HR Director or designee, the incumbent completes assigned on-going and special projects and assigned HRIS maintenance and reporting (iCIMS, UltiPro, UltiWeb and other assigned systems).  In addition, incumbent may be assigned to provide support to other area(s) of HR as necessary.


     


    Primary Job Responsibilities



    • Calculates and produces assigned HR metrics.

    • Receives, reviews, ensures the accuracy and completeness of, compiles and/or maintains human resource data, documents and records such as leave and salary records and employee data forms;

    • Assists human resource staff in administering a variety of human resource functions such as employment examinations, employee training and orientation, salary surveys, benefits enrollment and temporary appointments;

    • Enters and/or retrieves data from human resource information or other computerized recordkeeping systems;

    • Compiles data and prepares reports, statistics and statistical summaries, narrative summaries or graphic representations of data;

    • Supports the Applicant Tracking System and other areas of recruiting;

    • Coordinates HR efforts related to UW integration;

    • Incumbent may be asked to cross-train and “float” to assist with high demand workload periods or to cover for absences, or otherwise as assigned. 


     

    Qualifications

    • Education Background
    High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.


     


    • Licensure, Registration, Certification
    None required


     


    • Special Training/Skills



    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Requires very strong computer skills, especially Excel spreadsheets. Knowledge of pivot tables and vlookups preferred

    • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external and internal clients 

    • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

    • Communicate in a courteous and professional manner

    • Must be willing and able to cross-train and perform other functions in the HR Department as assigned

    • Requires demonstrated motivation, initiative, and resourcefulness, ability to work independently, ability to seek out data, review and analyze data and information, and make recommendations/suggestions/decisions

    • Requires ability to coordinate, organize, deal with large quantities of data, administer and assure completion of complex HR programs and projects 

    • Must be very accurate with high degree of attention to detail 

    • Project management skills and experience strongly preferred


    • Work Experience



    • At least one to two years of HR experience

    • Strongly prefer experience in a health care setting or hospital leading to an understanding of positions, titles and roles of various healthcare workers.

    • Previous experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS preferred


    Physical Demand Level: Sedentary
    In an 8-hour workday, must be able to-



    • Lift / Carry 10 pounds occasionally
