    Under the direction of the Manager or Application Analyst II or III, the Applications Analyst I (DI Information Specialist) performs entry-level analyst tasks and limited operations support for DI applications, including the radiology information system (RIS), picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and related systems.       AH123.  *CA 


    Education Background 

    • Completion of a 2 year Associate Degree in a relevant field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
    • Education in Computer Science or Radiologic Technology, preferred.

    Licensure, Registration, Certification

    • If required to drive as part of job: Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record.

    Work Experience

    • Requires 1-2 years general computing and computer applications or other relevant experience.
    • Experience in the healthcare industry.
    • Experience with GE Centricity RIS and PACS, preferred

    Special Training/Skills

    • Microsoft Office application skills: Word, Excel.
    • Skills in Visio diagram and work process flow charting, preferred.

    Physical Abilities

    • Able to sit for up to several hours with occasional rest breaks. 
    • Able to move between departments and buildings.
    • If driving is required, able to drive a vehicle.

    Physical Demand Level:  Sedentary

    In an 8-hour workday, must be able to-

    Lift / Carry 10 pounds occasionally


    As required, must be able to-

    Sit, Stand, Walk, Bend, Squat, Kneel, Crawl, Climb and Reach above shoulders

    Push and Pull

    Perform fine motor functions

    Must possess functional vision, hearing, and speech in order to communicate effectively with clients, client advocates, and staff.
